Whether this caused the most recent crash or not...no one really knows. After all, there is no known news that caused it...just people cashing out gains, most likely. If Bitcoin dips below $10k, many people who bought in during the all-time highs will be apocalyptic. It seems like it's going to keep crashing.
Don't think you can hedge with Tether, either. It's a giant scam and you can't redeem your Tether for USD despite the wide belief you can do so. Just directly cash out some of your gains.

I wouldn't complain about a "correction" for sure. A lot of people who were reverse mortgaging their houses at all-time highs would be suicidal though. But that's because they're idiots.
