How Halving and Scams are recently affecting the bitcoin...

in #bitcoin8 years ago (edited)

Recently the bitcoin network passed by halving, this planned event reduced the reward of blocks available in half, from 25btc to 12,5btc.

What many people who were "hanging" in online mining did not pay attention is that electricity costs and other charges included have not reduced anything! Thus, the actual reduction was 70% of profit before achieved in mining.

What we see today are the giants of online mining, as mining genesis, hashnest hashflare and making a great effort to keep their attractive parks for customers while the value of their equipment GHs keeps falling every day.

Taking advantage of that, many dishonest turned off their services alleging of being hacked or have passed by some climate catastrophe that has its servers to stop responding. Long after and no news that people all started to classify them as scammers and thieves ...

My sincere advice is to wait and do feasibility calculations to find a possibility of continuation. Or in the worst case, sell what you have and jump off once this world!

What do you think about?

I think Bitcoin will endure and survive above all scams...only will stay in functioning the real good miners.

They will not stop mining because its an investment, lets just hope in the future the price goes up.

I really hope it does not stop! There are countries like Brazil where mine at home is totally impractical due to cost electric power!
