@tkolpaczek But, reading more it seems as if it might actually fork and turn into two chains due to disagreements and tension related to the future of the currency. It seems as if Coinbase is also holding this up to be a chance, meaning that if there is a second chain that will actually stay alive and strong after the fork, then it will support it... or am I totally wrong in the way I understand this?

Atm there is around 25% on Bitmain and 25% on nChain side. 50% didn't decided yet. In my opinion majority will follow Roger Ver and Bitmain, but hey - it's crypto :-)
