Steemit & BitCoin News: China Now Taking Steps to Purify BTC market/Steemit ranked #16,295 in the world!!
The well known Altcoin News Reuters was found to following China's actions.
With China leading the charge into the Bitcoin realms of possibilities there is no bigger reason than to start with the risk assessment and solution as we are seeing them already do.
"The price of digital currency bitcoin slid around $50 on Wednesday after China's central bank said it had launched spot investigations on bitcoin exchanges in Beijing and Shanghai in order to fend off market risks... Bitcoin fell from around $909 on the Europe-based Bitstamp exchange to the day's low of $861, leaving it down almost 5 percent BTC=BTSP."
While the yuan lost more than 6.5 percent against the dollar last year, its worst performance since 1994, the bitcoin price has soared to near-record highs.

What do you think, do you think China plans to use Bitcoin in a bigger manner then they are letting on?
Are we just now catching the spotting of the iceberg....
......and do we not fully understand the developments right before our own eyes?
Personally, if my country's currency was becoming less and less valuable in the global market, I would have to start looking at other options, other currencies, and how they would boost and build up what I already had so much value in.
As we look at the Bitcoin market, as well as the USD fluctuations, also worth mention other currencies around the world. Especially the Chinese yuan, who not only have governments recognizing the value in Bitcoin, but in other Alt Coins, and their development.
My personal goal, is to stay away from the sinking ship about to hit that iceberg.
I am more apt to grab my diving gear and thermal swim suit to check out what is under the surface. I want to dig into it, take a piece, see if holds and rhyme or reason to what the rest of the floating chunk is made of.
I encourage you all, to study, research, and develop more and more in your Alt Coin endeavours.
Steemit will boost in ranks and numbers, but will it boost in quality? Time, is the teller of all things but the keeper of none. As we look into the future here at Steemit, as well as the value of Steem in the real world. I think we can all agree that Steemit is probably one of the best social media platforms out there. Not to mention one of the best communities.

I agree, especially on the Steemit part. Steem is based on real people with true intentions and who have old fashioned integrity. The Steemit platform reminds me of when civilized people came and began populating the wild west. This is what gives Steem its real value unlike other Alt coins that are mainly based only on trading and mining. All currency is only as strong as the people who believe in it and Steemit has a growing strong community that is barely in its infancy. In this crazy world of false news if it can manage to keep, and grow, its reputation of holding to the truth and civilized intelligent behavior, then its value will rocket. I truly believe this. It is only early days for the fledgling crypto currency but as soon as financial people realize that Steem is based on something real they will see it is a safe option and begin to invest big time thus driving up the price.

I also agree with your investment statement, the foundation will hold true to its core. So many other altcoins out there like you said are "built on mining and trading" where STEEM is backed not only by mining and trading (through posting and upvoting) but through an overwhelmingly dedicated community.
I think one of the biggest things about Steemit is there is no value in B.S.
