Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day!
8 years ago from today, two Papa John's pizzas were purchased for 10,000 BTC! At today's prices this cost $84 million dollars. That's some expensive pizza!
Laszlo Hanyecz is the first man to purchase something edible with Bitcoin. Some may thinj he is an idiot who should have HODLed. Others view him as a hero who paved the way for Bitcoin to become what it is today.

It's great to see how far BTC has come throughout the years. It's fun to look back 8 years and even more fun to imagine what things will look like in another 8 years. We are still very early in this crypto revolution. Steemit is still in its infancy. Perhaps someday we will buy our pizzas with Steem.
