BITCOIN Parabolic trend continues - CONFIRMED

in #bitcoin6 years ago

5 days ago I was pretty lonely saying Bitcoin would not have a lower low, but go up from here.
It is an exercise for the new kid on the block to stay on path when all experience around you say the opposite, and it feels really good to see I was right, for now.

Here is the chart from BITCOIN Will continue the PARABOLIC TREND? Up, up and..

Now the price have fulfilled the yellow triangle count, and started the first wave up in an Elliot Wave pattern!

Now let's see how this plays out over the next days.

As much as I think (and hope) that BTC will die soon - as long as all other coins are so dependent on it and there are not enough alternative trading pairs, it´s a good thing that BTC goes up again, after this January that was slowing us down way too much for my taste.

I strongly disagree :)

This January is not worse than last January. Bitcoin will be the king of crypto this year too.

Neglecting that fact will cost you profits, and to believe it will die is just numb IMO.

The blockchain is so strong it can take anything, and lightning will make small transactions insanely usable. I have tried on testnet and it works really well. I am waiting until the devs are satisfied before using it on mainnet, but it will come stable.

We are probably also facing a new financial crisis as the lending community are stacked above their head in debt. This will also gain bitcoin more than any altcoin, as it is the strongest blockchain proven over time.

Oh wow, you are the first person I meet, that is so positive about BTC!^^
For me it´s simply unusable at the moment - extremely slow and overloaded and fees that make good old bank transfers look like a way better option. I know, that the Bitcoin community is teasing Lightening as the solution for all that, but while they are testing and discussing ("fighting" being the better word), there are already working blockchains with seconds transaction speeds and no fees (one of them we use just now).
In a sense, Bitcoin has become the Microsoft of blockchains - they were first, but since then, they are always behind - and yes, I know, MS is still around, but mainly because the market is different and so much slower than crypto - also MS had such a large market share, that over the years losing more and more still kept them in the market. It´s different with Bitcoin - as we saw already over a few weeks, its market share got reduced from 60% to 30% - which is a huge and very fast decline.
Lightning may (if it will ever come and there is consensus about it) make BTC look prettier, but under the makeup it´s still outdated and quickly aging technology.
But hey - I respect your opinion, and it´s good to know, that I now know at least one person, that is totally bullish over BTC!
Old coins deserve love too, right? lol

I have never been more bull on bitcoin than now, that's for sure :)

Segwit was bashed but is working nicely. Mempool is down, transactions are done quite fast, and it is CHEAP again.
Lightning IS working, there IS consensus about it and it WILL be shining soon.

The old bastard got more news than most, but it is not hyped, it is worked. Here is some:

  • Bech32.
  • MAST/Taproot.
  • MuSig/Input-Sig aggregation.
  • Better SPV/Neutrino.
  • ConfidentialTx values with Bulletproofs.
  • ScriptlessScripts in signatures.
  • Simplicity script engine.
  • Covenant time-locked funds.
  • Dandelion ip hiding.
  • Encrypted P2P.

Ok, still I´ll wait and see, when this is all about to happen. Until then I´ll have to rely on Ether for buying/selling altcoins.
