Bitcoin Segwit & Hardfork
Hey mates,
Sooo i'm pretty new to the crypto world but ive been reading a lot obviously and studying , youtubing, twittering, facebooking. Looking at the likes of DollarVigilante (REALLY GREAT BLOKE) check him out if you haven't and another guy who explains the segwit really simply and all the other things Crypto Ameer Rosic and you can't go past Amanda B.
In all my research and forgive me if i'm wrong but isn't the technology behind the coin the reason we are hedging or buying these coins? not buying the coin to benefit financially before the technology? i guess what im saying is.. i just don't understand the big infighting on reddit and bitcointalk.
So what if the block has a little upgrade and puts the sig hash to the side of the block freeing up the 1mb of space to make it faster or the hard fork - literally splitting the coin into two halves - but you still maintain your current worth of the coin and your assets and most exchanges have pledged to abide by this- as stated on bitcoin.com..

Everyone who is afraid of BTC on 1 August because no one can't be sure in the future of cryptocurrency, but everyone hopes for a long-term investment. I think this is not logical. I am not worried about what will happen on 1 August. Because for me BTC is money that I spend on purchasing things I need and I do not have a large number of coins.
