Bitcoin bad guys
I read a comment earlier about terrorists using Bitcoin and other crypocurrencies to fund their heinous acts.
Yes, of course terrorists can use crypocurrency. Anything the general public can use, will be used by terrorists. Cars, guns, USD, Bitcoin, etc.
This should not hold us back from innovation. This should not stop us from trying to do things better. This should not scare us, it should light a fire within us to make changes that help humanity as a whole.
Many of my conservative friends on FB use this reasoning to ban things like crypto currency. Yes, conservatives wanting MORE governmental intrusion into our lives. Go figure!!
That probably comes from people who know about the deep web or darknet. Black market transactions including drugs, firearms, and human trafficking as well as the rumored red rooms with live killings where people will pay with cryptocurrency in all of these things. That was all my introduction to it years and years ago, so anyone who knows about these things will probably make those correlations. It's up to us as a whole to change that.
Indeed. I think we are doing well changing the public perception so far. More mainstream coverage and exposure every day. Hopefully people will start to see the value behind the technology.
