The Crypto Boss Battle

in #bitcoin3 years ago

it's been said and explained plenty of times how the big boys were now using the big guns to manipulate the Bitcoin (and therefore all other cryptos) prices.

This much should be obvious to all by now.

Sadly, I have no powers to remedy this, and creating remedies is extremely difficult, at least in terms of countering the technological manipulations.

It would need some type of Bitcoin black project to try and even attempt to remedy this head-on.

With the coming of the corporate cryptos next year, the squeeze will be on big time, as Bitcoin will need to re-establish its legitimacy, as its value storage vacuum fantasy is now shattered.

However fiat price is not the end-all and be-all, but reach is and competition will be decisive.

Over the last year, the screws were not only put on through covert price manipulation and community targeted misinformation (HODL, HODL, HODL, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE), but also through outright bans through Google and Facebook (combined this covers most of the internet).

As well as continuous slander and FUD in the mainstream media and persecution of startups by the banksters. A practice that continues to this very day and something that will likely not end soon.

Yet the banksters decrying Bitcoin in the finance funny papers remains a rather comedic affair. Yes sure Mr. Bankster, we'll take YOUR word for the untimely demise of Bitcoin.

As the uninformed are easily convinced of Bitcoin being the NWO coin, by merely referencing some old magazine cover, mismatching the dates, and adding various MSM deliberate misinterpretations for good measure.

It is however true, that likely only industry insiders could have come up with Bitcoin, but this does not automatically mean that therefore it is under their sole direct control.

It should be clear to any discerning mind that Bitcoin development went way beyond it's initial whitepaper into the biggest cryptographic network in the world.

Yet, what all this cryptographic power is worth as wealth storage remains to be seen and see this we will.

One big blow came from the Bitcoin technology itself as alone it was not able to scale up to global requirements in terms of transactions, something that might be remedied by the lightning transport layer, but then again it might not.

However, this still does not mean a death blow to Bitcoin, as its position as crypto gold remains.

Exorbitant governmental regulatory requirements and official reports of outright national bans have not helped either.

Not to mention the persecution by the justice system in some individual nations.

Now, something can be said for making sure that, money laundering is prevented as much as possible, but it should be obvious that there are plenty of existing methods of laundering money through well-tried and tested traditional means, like banks.

We always knew that Bitcoin was up against the biggest, talk about David against Goliath, we are now nearing the most decisive battles for Bitcoin.

Not all is lost with Bitcoin's seeming fiat price demise, despite going straight against apparent market outlooks, but by now many avenues have been explored and movements on the game board have become more limited.

There are still avenues that could be explored, that are not yet. But where are the powers that Bitcoin needs to be to make it happen?

Coming we are now at the dawn of the corporate cryptos, which will be the true acid test for Bitcoin as the lead crypto.

The time is now for real development progress, rather than the old well-paid side-tracks, apart from the lightning network, but which is a development that is not limited to Bitcoin as a crypto network development.

It is not too late for Bitcoin, but then again, it's not too soon for competitive payment methods to take hold, as some already have.

All in all, one could say that despite all odds, Bitcoin remains the most exciting high risk, and high promise prospect in the competition to the product that we know as "money".

I wish you all, good luck, in the coming year of crypto showdown.
