HOW TO RECOGNISE SCAMS/GENERAL RULES IN THE CRYPTOSPACE

Getting scammed is one of the easiest deals in the Cryptospace space ranging from shit coins to shit ICOs to Fake traders to pump and dumps to all sorts. So this are just a few guidelines you could you to protect yourself.

1)Bitcoin is the a whooping 10k+ (as at the time of writing this 12/3/2018 posting it on STEEMIT for the first time though ☺) so don't think anyone will give you free for any reason. Faucets that give free don't do that completely free. You get to complete tasks and at that you get meagre amounts.You could also earn free stuffs from airdrops. If you want to earn well you must invest well and wisely.
2)Never fall for anyone who claims they can give you unreasonable amount of Bitcoin in a short period of time. If they could they wouldn't be on social media posting ads. They would be somewhere spending their monies. They are scams and you lose your money when you send it to them.
3)Always check the profiles of those you are dealing with. Most profiles are fake. You should be able to tell a scam profile from a real one by simply checking for comments by friends on their posts. If there are no comments or very few pictures, then its a fake profile and also check when it was opened. Some profiles show that there were opened years ago but you never see post from those years. Those are scams. Don't fall for them. Before having any deal with anyone, always request video chats and one on one meetings. There are too many people involved in the Cryptospace for you not to find someone to have any deal with in your present location.

4)All so-called miners who want to help you mine directly to your wallet are scammers. They simply copy your "backup phrase" and use that to take control of your wallet after you fund it. If they could truly make such gains they would simply create all the wallets in the world and mine to them. Its such a easy scam method. Never fall for it.
5)Never send funds to anybody for any reason. Invest yourself. All so-called Binary Option Traders are Scam. Note that I did not say 'Binary Option Trading is scam'. If you need to trade, use verified brokers or learn the skill yourself.
6)Do your own research before you invest in anything. You cannot get funds back once you lose it.
7)There are HYIPs but only invest if you will be OK with loss. You could invest safely but know that no investment in the world is 100% safe. A delicate addition on HYIPs is: know when to get in and out. But still don't even risk it with an HYIP that pays as much as 50% in a month (this is not an investment advice though).
You can get rich in the crypto world if you are patient and willing to learn and also if you are a risk taker. Just don't make irrational decisions.

1. If you wanna buy BTC then buy from Coinbase, LUNO, PAXFUL or anyone you know personally. Never deal with someone you don't know.
   9)Always ask for Emails from those you want to deal with. Many email service providers show the real locationof the sender by divulging the ip address from which those emails are sent.
   10)Everyone claiming to sell or buy Bitcoin on Facebook are liars. You don't need to advertise Bitcoin before you can sell. There are verified platforms for selling and buying. Online sellers are scams.
