One of my Favorite Stories of 2017? "Bitcoin Guy" at the Fed Flashing "Buy Bitcoin"
This was one fun year for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
One of the most delightful times was when one person planned carefully to put up a sign of "Buy Bitcoin" behind Fed Chair, Janet Yellen.
He did it just to have something for himself. However, within a few minutes it went viral and he went from a supporter of cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin, to "Bitcoin Guy" around the world.

Terry, the regulatory mechanisms and cryptos are in for an epic showdown in 2018. Cryptos will be the way people exchange money in the future. There will still be banks and banksters in my lifetime. Just imagine though 5-10 years from now what a different world it would be.
You will be able to send me 20 bitcoins on Christmas next year.
I agree with you, @nedspeaks. Yes, there will be opposition from existing institutions, much like there was to these institutions regarding the internet. However, in the long run, they will have to come around or die the death that all old technology dies. Nice to hear from you!
