BITCOIN NEWS: SOLUTION FOUND! - NO MORE SPLIT!
We are seeing some excellent recovery in BTC price, and I assume it's because of this:
On one side was BIP148, which would activate a UASF (User Activated Soft Fork) and on the other is the Segwit2X team. The conflict between them threatened to split Bitcoin into two competing assets.
"As of today, it seems this schism will be avoided. The SegWit2x development team plans to implement BIP91, a proposal by Bitmain Warranty engineer James Hilliard that cleverly makes the two conflicting activation methods compatible."
"Now, it seems BIP91 has provided the solution.
BIP91 is a proposal by Bitmain Warranty (not to be confused with Bitmain) engineer James Hilliard which was specifically designed to prevent a coin-split by making SegWit2x and BIP148 compatible."
The UASF will not happen upon BIP91 activation therefore there will not be a split in the currency known as "Bitcoin"!
"Where BIP91 differs from BIP148 is that it doesn’t have a set activation date, but is instead triggered by hash power.
BIP91 nodes will reject any non-SegWit signalling blocks if, and only if, 80 percent of blocks first indicate within two days that’s what they’ll do."

I don't know why there is so much ambition towards this situation. I feel like there might still be a small risk that the split does happen. Will be selling my BTC for EUR a couple days before the marked date.
I do not know about the technical details about BIP and segwit but now everything is under control and people's sentiments are changing.
I don't like to see people selling and reacting so much; and it's actually fine, the price is going up, and there seems to be so much confusion.
You have so much steem power , why not upvote the others with equal contribution. You are liking your own comments with very high voting power while others only a few. This is not healthy for this community dear. We wanna grow this community better so please change this attitude and support those you visit you and connect with you.
