This turtle up there is something the artist probably saw in a dream. My dreams are more about crypto and I often day dream about being able to use cryptocurrencies for more things in life. Actually, I’d be happy if I could use crypto for everything! Alas, that dream is taking too long to become reality. However, one thing that I do almost every day, blogging, could soon involve cryptocurrencies.

To be fair, my blogging has already started to involve cryptocurrencies. I have recently started to use steem dollars to promote my post. Other bloggers spend fiat dollars but Steemit bloggers spend steem dollars. To add to me blog’s cryptocurrency reliance, another cryptocurrency I could start using for my blog would be Wemark.

Wemark is a marketplace for stock images. These types of images are commonly used in blogs but right now they are expensive to buy and also can only be bought with fiat. Wemark is using the blockchain to remove the middleman in the stock image sales so the prices of the images do down a lot. I would also feel good about these purchases because, unlike many of the stock image marketplaces that only pay their photographers petty cents for sales, Wemark is different and will only take 15% of the sale and the rest is for the photographer.

Speaking of money, the stock images on Wemark become cheaper and can also be paid with crypto. I will be able to use a cryptocurrency called Wemark tokens to buy the stock images on Wemark. This means bloggers like me who actively write about blockchain, crypto, and ICOs can actually fully rely on paying for their blog related stuff with cryptocurrencies.

It seems my dream of one day being able to use cryptocurrencies for everything is becoming real faster than I thought. A big part of my day, my blog, would be fully powered by cryptocurrencies. This is an exciting development for me and other crypto related content creators.
