How to earn with bitcoin

I am wondering how does one actually earn using bitcoin? We have so many apps and task driven adverts to earn but let's get to the bottom of how to actually earn bitcoin. What steps should one take starting without any market knowledge? I know watch a YouTube video you might say, but I want opinions from actual people who my be in a beginner status such as myself. Not sure exactly how this site works but I'm going to figure it out. I know my post doesn't have any pretty adverts, I don't need those but I am here for open opinions and worthwhile knowledge of the bitcoin craze.
