A resident of the United States came up with how to wind a crypto currency with the help of the wind
The Harvest project, created by the American Julian Oliver, makes it possible to produce crypto currency using wind power. This is written by Engadget.
According to the publication, the project is intended to demonstrate the importance of combating climate change.
Harvest uses a 700W wind turbine that feeds equipment that produces crypto currency. The funds thus obtained are transferred by Oliver to the financing of research in the field of climate.
Now Harvest is at an exhibition in Stockholm. It is noted that the crypto currency produced before the end of the exhibition will be divided between three non-profit organizations.
"In the future, hundreds of such windmills will be available in different areas," said Julian Oliver.
Recall, earlier Digiconomist researchers came to the conclusion that the bitcoin and Ethereum miners consume more electricity than Jordan, Iceland and the Dominican Republic.
Nice! Do you have an idea how much does the wind turbine cost?
