Maybe you'll buy it with Omisego. Much cheaper than DASH which as its own arguments for and against it. Even if Litecoin didn't have full time developers, it doesn't mean that their contractors didn't get the job done, right?
Dash will become 10 times cheaper with the coming block size increase. LTC contractors got the job done. But they weren't funded by the network. To my knowledge only DASH, Bitshares, PIVX, ZenCash,MUE has a self funded treasury where community controls the development. Anyone can easily hijack LTC just as how BTC was hijacked into a mess. Dash and PIVX are the only coins to be able to do faster than VISA transactions for few pennies. Anybody is willing to pay few pennies. BTC fee-Dash fee difference and OMG-Dash difference isn't that huge.
