VISA is Reportedly Planning to wage War on Cash
VISA is reportedly planning to wage war on cash by paying British businesses to start refusing coins and notes.
The payments giant will soon try and strike deals with shops and restaurants worth thousands of pounds and free use of contactless technology.
In return British shop owners must ensure all customers pay with debit card, credit card or digital payments like Apple Pay.
Visa’s chief executive Al Kelly vowed to “put cash out of business”.
