ECC Sapphire Wallet Now Available to Public!
My favorite coin this year has been ECC.
If you check some of my prior articles, you’ll notice that I’ve been following it since January of this year. The project is entirely community driven that volunteer their blood, sweat, and tears to the project. This is refreshing in our current world of ICOs that raise millions with a copy-pasted white paper.
This past week the development team had a big update. On April 20th, they will be launching their ANS service and their updated wallet interface called Sapphire.
With the ANS feature, consumers will no longer have to remember crazy X-digit wallet names. The consumer can simply send funds to “mylovingmother” instead of 0X336r6rTiygm. It’s quite similar to the way domain names connect to a server. This will be a game changer for adoption at the mainstream consumer level.
ANS is not their only big release. ECC’s sapphire interface will lower the threshold for consumer adoption. With an easier to use interface, ECC plans to make it easier for everyone to use their services.
ECC’s Vision Explained
These are two foundation steps which will allow the team to continue their roadmap to solving two big problems. ECC will revolutionize data storage so that it is encrypted and decentralized as well as offer a fully encrypted messaging service. ANS and Sapphire are laying the foundation, and I expect big things to build from this point.
