#CRYPTO INSIDER - Bitcoin´s rise is costing some Investors Billions!
The rise of Bitcoin is shattering the financial markets and it seem like some Investors lost just as much as others have earned. To be precise short sellers betting against Nvidia and AMD have lost a combined value of 1.8$ Billion since January 2017...
As cryptocurrencies are a sizzling hot topic at the moment the demand for mining equipment and therefore the products of above mentioned companies led to a huge increase of value on their respective stocks. To name some numbers Nvidia gained more than 57% and AMD 16% based on the market price at the beginning of this year.
Especially the Hedge fund Carlson Capital´s might regret the bet against companies related to Bitcoin or similar cryptocurrencies as they´ve lost 14.2% of their 1$ Billion "Black Diamond Thematic fund". All this just because they eventually didn´t really consider the cryptocurrency market as some real business that might affect their investments...
On the other hand, everyone who invested into Bitcoin was able to achieve a Return on Investment of more than 200% within the same time frame. Every Investor might probably lust for such an increase in value just in a bit more than 6 months.
So do you think we might basically put it into a Nutshell and get to the conclusion that you shouldn´t bet against the cryptocurrency market? At least I would never consider to bet a single steem against the rise of the blockchain and all the cryptos running on it. Would you?

There is now a bitcoin trust fund on the equity markets. That means loads of money coming in!
I'm really curious where it will go the next months as a lot of money from a single fund unfortunately as well means a lot of power in a single hand... The market isn't big, so quite small amounts can move it significantly.
Yea exactly so no reason why this won't be moving towards 5k over the next 3 months.
Just one, a short dump to secure profits and to buy back in at lower prices after that again.
Things are changing so fast
And it will not slow down at any time soon I guess.
Haha, betting against graphics card manufacturers at a time when there's a shortage of graphics cards. Not smart at all.
Well not everyone has realized the Power of the Blockchain yet ;)
