“I think the internet is going to be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government. The one thing that’s missing but that will soon be developed, is a reliable e-cash.”
(Professor Milton Friedman)
I think the opportunity is without a doubt there. I think we have to see 1) greater adoption by merchants and consumers as a means of transaction and 2) greater liquidity of crypto. These two forces will allow crypto to be a better store of value and thus also a e-cash solution.
Yes, you have a poitn there.
You what, what I am having discussing with my firends whether bitcoin is good or not or what will happen to the blockchain technology or why do we have to change the money system. My very basic answer to him is that in last 2o years, Interent has changed a lot. It has changed everthing then why are we not willing to change our hundreds of years of old money system. why not?
The stark reality is that the world today is run by criminals, who will do anything they can to lead the trend of the crypto market into their own hands. The social crediting system we see in China will supplement this digital economy, if it is brought into fruition in the West.. Another thing I can see as probable is the out-lawing of cryptocurrencies, or certain restraints, at least. With it being replaced by a Government centralised digital currency. Like I said the psychopaths that run the show are itching to get it all under control, because it is one of the main forces that threatens Government relevancy. They know this. Cryptos could in theory lead us all to safety, doing something similar to what e-mail did to the post office - allowing us to be our own banks, and it is the closest we have ever been to freedom. We just need to play it correctly and make sure that we stay vigilant and aware of what they are trying to do with it.
Yeah the role of the government should be reduced at all cost and this can be done making use of the internet. Professor Milton Friedman has said it well.
The blockchain can act as a more resilient intermediary, at present we rely on the public service who are clouded by judgement and what is a broken system. The beauty of blockchain is that it is unemotional, it just sets out what it needs to do and executes.

But how can i participate in bitcoin
Probably Blockchain, not the internet, will hugely reduce the workload of government, reducing the number of civil servants etc.
What stands in the way of reliable e-cash is security and transparency from ICOs.

We been there and we always fall over our own feet. Remember e-gold?
Hopefully we do better this time with cryptocurrencies. To the moon!!
i think the genie is out of the bottle
We will see this more and more in the years to come.
