Paying with Bitcoin at Walmart!
Using my Visa Shift card at Walmart
So today I used my Shift card that's linked to my Coinbase bitcoin wallet at Walmart!
I was really only willing to spend about .85 cents with only $20 of Bitcoin on there, but it still worked which is awesome!
That means that if the price of BTC hits $100,000-$1,000,000 like some people say then my available balance would automatically be $3k-$30k with the same amount of BTC which is around .03 BTC, and I would be able to use THAT value or even withdraw that in USD out of any ATM! (Up to $1,000/ day)
So as you can probably see I was being rushed so I did not actually record myself actually inserting the card due to not wanting to accidently expose my card numbers, but here is my account after the transaction.

That is pretty awesome, but I bet if someone didn't know what bitcoin was they would think he was hacking the machine LOL!

Thanks for the info. I was actually going to contact Coinbase to verify they were legit a few days ago. I guess they are :)
Is this Shift card/Coinbase scenario available to Australians?
I've been meaning to try it out guess I should get on that lol.
