Nasdaq to trade Bitcoin Futures 2018
2018 is going to be a HUGE year for Crypto and Bitcoin especially. First the CME announces its futures exchange now Nasdaq, the name alone lends legitimacy to the crypto space giving many the "green light" they were looking for to jump in.

Nasdaq’s Bitcoin futures contracts will be listed on Nasdaq Futures NFX markets
From what i understand Bitcoin futures allow investors to hedge against their own Bitcoin holdings. If BTC were to crash the investors would not be completely wiped out. Hedge funds are of course integral to modern finance allowing major risk undertaking while building a hedge "safety net"

Also dissenting opinions will emerge. Here is a Nobel Prize winning economist saying bitcoin should be outlawed... LOL
