Al-Tabaa pointed out that what is required now is to lift the unjust siege and open all commercial crossings and introduce all the needs of the sector without supervision or conditions by Israel, adding that the sector needs huge quantities of building materials to compensate for what was destroyed.
Meat and Poultry
As the camera wandered inside the poultry and meat sector in Gaza, and monitored the reluctance of citizens to buy poultry because of high prices, while the price of meat and the movement of purchase remained unchanged.
Spokesman for the Ministry of National Economy in Gaza Tariq Labad described the economic situation there as "very difficult", pointing out that the repeated targeting of agricultural land in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli aggression caused a severe shortage of vegetables, which reflected the prices which have seen a significant increase.
He said that the ministry is currently setting the prices of some basic materials such as water and eggs, and is in the process of determining the prices of other goods, as well as the existence of a plan to import essential materials from abroad through the Kerem Shalom crossing and the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the occupation.
