I don't know. This prediction could turn out to be correct, but it is by no means a lock. And, I think one would have to be crazy to short bitcoin simply because it is impossible to value it right now. If you think it is worthless you are correct and if you think it is priceless you are also correct. Terrible idea to short something that is very hard to value.
Shorting BTC is more of a short term thing. I've already done it on Kraken and I've both made and lost money. You don't need these bankers who doesn't even trade 24/7 and hate volatility (AKA fun) to short BTC or ETH.
