This is very interesting. If $1,000 movements are becoming commonplace, then Bitcoin has reached the price territory where most goldbugs thought gold would be someday. Really an incredible development. Could it be? Could bitcoin become the new global standard for storing value? I guess we will find out during the next financial crisis - which seem to happen every ten years by the way, so we are definitely due for one.
