So I try to get a wire transfer at US Bank. The teller notices on the wire info that the company is Coinbase.
- Teller: What is this wire is for?
- Me: Why does it matter?
- Teller: It is policy to ask what the wire transfers are for.
- Me: It is an exchange.
- Teller: Exchange for What?
- Me: An exchange for currency.
- Teller: But what kind of currency.
- Me: Electronic currency.
- Teller: Is that bitcoin?
- Me: They have bitcoin along with other currencies
- Teller: Sorry sir, we cannot perform the wire transfer involving bitcoin. It is against our bank's policy
- Me: The bank I'm wiring it to is a domestic bank. It should be like any other wire transfer.
- Teller: Our bank doesn't consider Bitcoin "REAL" currency.
- Me: That doesn't make sense, Bitcoin market cap is worth more than your entire company.
People ask me all the time "Isn't that fake money?" or "How do you convert it to real money?"

When she said "our bank doesnt consider bitcoin real currency", I would of said, "well, frankly, I don't really care what the bank considers real currency, its the people who are suppose to determine what is our currency."
And I would of pulled all of my money out that very day to prove my point. If they don't want to play our game, then they can play with somebody else's funny money.
I would of said how is Bitcoin, which has a limited supply, not real yet something you print trillions of out of thin air whenever you want real... lol
