Don’t know much but I sometime deal with companies like cloudflare who can now push code on their con networks before traffic reaches the server.

Ok, got it. I hope that Gladius or a similar project becomes the de facto for internet security. I think that decentralization is starting to become the future of everything.

Its going to be a very difficult to build a competitive control layer for a decentralized solution. The latency costs paid by routing traffic to hundreds of machines owned by strangers may be more debilitating than a DDoS attack on its own. And any attempt to other caching or other services just adds to that control layer pain.
