Steemit is making Bitcoin look like old tech
Bitcoin has yet to appeal to the average Joe, buying bitcoin requires a learning curve some people can not get past.Buying Steemit is as simple as signing up on Steemit.com , and getting $10 worth of Steem Power for free, Making a post , being paid Steem Dollars/Steem Power for that post, then spending the Steem Dollars on Steem all within the same website. People like things that require no monetary investment from them. People like things that don't require much of a learning curve. Most of us here know that anyone with half a brain should be investing in Steem Power but we must appeal to EVERYONE not just the smartest richest most forward thinking people, as Bitcoin has.

I think Steemit is a great introduction to Cryptocurrency concepts for the less techy inclined. It is an easy process to get started and you see reward for effort.
