I suppose that this more than a hope than a likelihood of reality, but I (want to) believe that the insiders and whales already know how huge the value of TRX will be, and they are probably dictating "when" that will be as well. In other words, these insiders already know exactly that they are buying, say $3 for just a nickel. Therefor they are controlling the price at a snails pace of a gradual increase. Just enough show investors that the token (soon to be coin) IS steadily gaining value, but yet allowing time for all of they're fat-cat cronies to load their bags. It's a win/win for them, because as this slow and steady manipulation process goes on, they are also taking money from the weak-handed sellers. In a bit of irony, that does provide at least some ethical value in the sense that they know that those of us who believe in the project and HODL tight through all of this WILL be rewarded handsomely, and hey, rightfully so.
Here's my bottom line... Insiders KNOW that Tron IS a $5 (maybe $10 or more) coin by 2020, so they are using this time in it's early growth stages to load up the bags of themselves and their cronies. Weak hands will tire of this "meantime" and bail, while those of us who HODL and accumulate might just be making the best investment of our lives. Once the previous weak hands see the coin rise up again, their opinions will change back to "favorable" and in there money will come once again, this time at $.50 a coin versus just $.05 per coin.
I realize that this goes against what many day traders will say, as they probably laugh at those of us who constantly say to HODL, but Tron TRX is a different case. Sure, day trade and swing trade with all the hundreds of other coins out there if that is your thing, but with Tron you really can't. Bots have got it squeezed so tight it wouldn't even be worth the trading fees.
I used to work investigations while I was process serving, and I can tell you this, that ALWAYS holds true. Follow the money!

The moral of the story... If you believe in Tron and see the enormity of this project, then accumulate and HODL! Set it and forget it like a Ronco Rotisserie from the eighties. Sure, trade all you wish with other cryptos, but not Tron. Grip that sucker tight, and you might just get a taste of financial freedom in a couple years time. None of us have a time machine for which to go back and buy Bicoin, but you CAN buy Tron NOW!
I've been watching the order book for a while. There's about 50k+ worth of USD at every satoshi level. The second the price moves up by 1 satoshi, another 50k-200k will be placed above there. I suspected some bot /whale manipulation for a while. While I was waiting for BTC's 5th wave correction, I came up with the idea that when this correction would happen, whales/bots would temporarily lose control, and the price would go up. The moment it happened, it actually went up from 404 to 424 satoshi. I do think it will be difficult to push the price much lower than 400, since it seems to have quite a strong resistance.
No matter what, I've worked in China, seen how they work, and how quickly they can grow (from 8-400 employees in ~2 years). While TronDogs seems like just a silly gimmick to me, it shows how quickly they can develop a working product. Other coins are developed by relatively small teams and make slow progress.
Chinese companies have certain weaknesses, especially with English communication (technical team's livestream), and copying stuff (no references in the English version of the whitepaper), but with the recent livestream it became clear that they will deal with these weaknesses by expanding their team with native English speakers in San Francisco.
It has a lot of potential. Looking forward to their progress, hopefully accompanied by a big price increase.
Speaking of the bots, is it just me, or did Tron, along with many other alts behave more naturally, specifically during that time that Binance was down?
