A F*ck You From The Banks? A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words... Or More...

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

For myself it would be easy to find 1000 words, or even 2000 words to say about this picture. I honestly saw this when I went to coin market cap and literally just laughed out loud. Of course it's funny to me because I had wondered if a massive shake would happen right prior to the end of the fiscal year. A little "give me some tax money" kind of shake if you will. I figured there would be great fear put in the little "all in" guy and it seems as though today was the day. To the HODLERs, it means nothing. That is of course if they have disciplined themselves enough to take the emotion out of the trade. For many, watching 20%+ of your money drain is convincing enough for you to click the button. It's hard to say what the future brings, but if you have been around bitcoin long enough then you have seen this before. Cheers.

hi dont really understand your message in that picture? Could you please explain further?
Even though my balance droping 25%, i am prepared to buy more at bottoms

Oh, I'm sorry. What I mean is that many Cryptopians see XRP/Ripple as the bankers coin. 2/5 of the top cryptos when listed from biggest increase in the last 24hs are XRP and Tether. Tether is something that is supposed to be pegged to a USD value so the rise in tether indicates people selling out to hold tether. Given the large amount of cryptos I find it ironic at the least that the coin market cap looks how it does right now.

tks
BTW, i have the same opinion too regarding XRP and Tether :-)

Also I am a believer that the large governments in the world are obviously buying crypto even if its not disclosed to the public. This technology is disruptive and I dont know much about taxes in other parts of the world but I know that the IRS is pissed in the USA and they want tax money this year so I expected a massive drop before the years end despite last year bitcoin continued to rise until just after the new year and took a dump. I suspect the price of BTC will be suppressed until the years end now.
