RE: Bitcoin Capitulation, an Astrological Perspective (What would Vettius Valens have said?)

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Hello @zoidsoft,

Also notice that with the Dublin or London location for the Genesis Block, you have the 6th house being Capricorn. It also means this is a night chart, and therefore the Moon is the Sect Light. Valens preferred profections from the Sect Light. Starting in January at Bitcoin's birthday, the profection year it entered would be the 6th house Saturn ruled profection. Saturn being out of sect is arguably Bitcoin's most difficult planet. The 6th house is one of the worst houses according to Hellenistic astrologers. We also have Saturn transiting the 6th house beginning in late December. In fact, Saturn entering Capricorn might have timed the December top almost to the day.

There is a case that next year will be better as it's a 7th house year (an angular house), but Saturn is still the Time Lord by profections. I suspect 2020 in January, when Jupiter resumes its role as Time Lord, we can see the parabolic, blow-off gains that 2017 brought. This also coincides with the next havening in the mining block reward.

Also, another reason to use the Leo rising chart is that the message in the Genesis block was the title of the Times article about the UK Chancellor bailing on the banks for a second time. Plus the UTC time matches the time for London.

Anyhow, thanks for the nice write up. I enjoy using your Software, especially to time circumambulations through the bounds.

Will you be at UAC this year? I wonder how much Bitcoin talk will happen. I'm looking forward to what other astrologers might say.

I won't be at UAC. I'm in Ivan OnTech's (@ivanli) Blockchain Academy which is taking up most of my time these days.
