Cryptomarkets: Future Price of Bitcoin in relative to Market Capitalisation
Hi Steemer, we are here:
Yeah, to the left. Right after the Innovators, at the beginning of the Early Adopters. And: We have a Crypto Market Capitalisation of 441 Billion USD. Compared to other Assets, that is not a lot.
Gold has a Market Cap of 7.581 Billion. Big Companies, like Apple have 867 Billion.
The New York Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ, the biggest Exchanges in the US, had in 2016 a combined Market Cap of 27.400 Billion.
If you agree with me on Bitcoin as an Asset and putting this into perspective, it is nearer to Gold than to Apple in Perception.
To reach Apple, it has to double. That would be a BTC of 32.500 USD.
To reach the Market Cap of Gold, it would go 17x, that would be 275,000 BTC/USD
Reching the Market cap of the two biggest Stock exchanges, BTC would be at 994.100 BTC/USD
So
- if the current Mass adoption phase will go on
- more money will flow from the old markets into crypto, because it will be established as an asset class
- the volatility will go even higher than now.
- the long term prediction will be massive.
I personally expect the Middle of the Majority Phase in 5 Years from now.
I expect an Bitcoin of 450.000 BTC/USD by then. (But i wont eat anything on public television for it.)
quote me in some years. :D
Good post, well written and explained.
Cheers
we are living in such exciting times. Cheers too!
Bitcoin and Apple cannot be compared as there are no earnings in bitcoin books.
i am aware that it is technically not comparable. but it helps putting things into perspective.
