FUD or FACT? Contrarian or Sheeple?
FUD or Fact? You decide. I've personally skim read the article and the point of why I'm sharing this (when it could very easily be fake FUD) is because IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S TRUE OR NOT.
THE MOMENT YOU REALISE THAT NEWS/MEDIA/SHOCK EVENTS ARE USED AS INSURANCE POLICIES TO ENSURE A BIG TRADE GOES TO PLAN, the markets make a whole lot more sense. There's a good reason why the 50ish year old quote of "Show me the charts and I'll tell you the news" is even truer in this manipulated world of Cryptos.
Before and during big bear moves, you'll tend to see a build up of bearish news before hand and then a shock event (mini Black Swan) that 'triggers' the waterfall. The media then points their fingers at the event that caused the crash. When that 'trigger' is bollocks and the move was always predetermined. It's the same the other way round.
So with this article, I don't really give a shit about what it says. I'm looking at it from a higher perspective. As in, "Is this signalling a potential mini Black Swan (Bitfinex going bust) that will dump BTC down to $4000 before V reversing?" OR "Is this part of the build up to a different shock event? And that Bitfinex is a distraction?"
The proper money on the markets is made when connecting the dots behind the overt picture/narrative. Not by signing up to multiple signal providers/Crypto groups and gorging on daily trade alerts and Technical Analysis on tiny insignificant intra day moves which is just noise. But that's what new/amateur investors/traders THINK they need. But in reality it just gets them into bad habits. I.e. being trade alert/TA alert junkies and chaining themselves to the screens.
Not saying I have an answer to the bigger questions here but this post is just food for thought...Remember, being a contrarian investor by natural default instead of being one of the Sheeple will always produce better profits.
