What rules created by the founder(Satoshi Nakamoto) of Bitcoin?

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Bitcoins are limited, Only 21 million Bitcoin can be generated.

To solve one block there is a limited time.

A fixed amount of Bitcoin is given for solving one Block.

The mining process will be completed in 2140

After solving  2,16,000 blocks, Which takes approximately four years, Block reward will be half.

There is no way by which we can mine all bitcoins in short period.

Bitcoin started in 2009, at that time, the reward for solving one block, was 50 Bitcoins.

The first halving occurred in 2012, that makes it 25btc

and the second halving occurred in 2016, Which makes the reward 12.5btc

The halving will continue till 2140.

Following are some common question regarding Bitcoin mining.

If you are wondering what is block....??

It is a ledger which records the transactions.

What is mining...???

It is the process of verifying the transaction through the computing power of the machine (miner). It can be your computer, GPU, or  ASIC ( The Dedicated device for mining purpose.)

Blockchain regulate the difficulty level of solving a block so that it could reach to 2140

Q: What is the difficulty in mining....???

It is very simple. When number of machine increases,  the difficulty level of solving a block also increase.
So, if there are a lot of people start mining then it will take too much time due to increased difficulty and we will get less reward, it can be possible that your electricity charges would be higher than your profit generated from mining.
So, selecting a miner with good efficiency is also very important.

Q- Can I mine Bitcoin through GPU?

That time has passed when you could mine Bitcoin with GPUs because you need very high Hashrate to mine Bitcoin. It would have been better if you had tried Bitcoin mining 4-5 years ago. But now it the difficulty level is so high that there is no GPU that can provide you that much power.

Q How to mine Bitcoin?

The best way of mining Bitcoin is using ASIC( application specific Integrated circuit), which is specifically designed for mining Bitcoin.
The best miner for this would be Antminer s9, provides up to 13TH/s which is sufficient to generate approximately 0.3 BTC  per month.

Q: Where to buy antminer S9?

You can buy it from www.bitmain.com in 1099USD. It is the company's website.
