Which Crypto Will the Banks Adopt? Maybe None.

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Which coin will the banks used for international transfers? Will it be Ripple, Ethereum, or NEM. At the moment it look as though Ripple is going to be champ. In the end though, it may not turn out to be any of the coins we are familiar with today or any new coins that may be unleashed on the public in the future. The banks are probably developing their own coins for transfer only purposes. They will be exchanged at each end for fiat and the public will never even know which 'crypto coin' did the transfer. It is also possible that the banks are merely using Ripple and Ethereum for their pilot tests. In the end the coins we know are merely a new technology and, judging by the number of cryptos on the market, one which could easily be duplicated and improved upon. The banks surely have enough money to fund their own custom 'coin'. These coins may never go into public circulation.
