Cryptocurrencies have no intrinsic worth and are useless as a form of exchange. They entail exorbitant transaction costs. They are very slow. Together they have turned into an ecological fiasco.
They are not backed by the assets and revenue streams of an established state. Most can be rendered worthless by fraud or digital manipulation.
They are essentially Ponzi schemes that masquerade as citizen currencies beyond government control.
How often have you heard these same sentiments in a bear market? It really does seem that some people have nothing better to do than to try and negate the gains of other. Unfortunately that is just human nature though isn't it. As soon as someone gets a little leg up or another technology comes about that may just be better than the status quo, then someone comes out of the woodwork to try and shoot it down in flames.
I don' think I'll ever see a world in my lifetime where people can get along and try and work together for the good of the human race.

Sounds like more of the same. I think we’re too entrenched and established now to totally disappear. Likely just another great idea everyone just isn’t ready for yet, it will come eventually, I’m in for the long term and invested lightly.
I agree, I do not think we will see a world like you state in anyone’s lifetime, we are just too selfish as a species.
In my opinion, there will be another significant growth of the crisis in the foreign exchange market, but then there will again be a recession after which it is very difficult to predict.

It's not easy to close down the cryptocurrency, South Koria month ago do the bann exchange theme in there country... but there exchanges are still oprating from another country. As per my vive its not possible to close down the crypto assets worldwide, it can only happen when all the countries take action at one time, but right now and future this is not easy to see all the countries in world will unite on crypto issue... so long last CRYPO =D
If that is the case, what will happen to steem and steemit? If Bitcoin fails, the other crypto currencies will have it difficult to survive.
