Waiting for That Bitcoin Confirmation
Bitcoin is getting pretty ridiculous. Should we finally be able to admit it that a financial revolution with bitcoin may not be happening? A lot of us hope for it, and a lot of us have invested a lot of our time, money, energy and resources into it, so it's hard to let go, since I find it improbable that a single consensus on how to improve things will be reached, the BTC situation will only get worse.
It's slow and expensive as fuck, and it will get slower and more expensive.
I wish STEEM would and could get better privacy (private transactions, etc.) since it already does a number of things better than bitcoin. If things are done right, then bitcoin's troubles could prove a positive for STEEM.
If the cards are played right.
Thoughts?
Cryptonote code is the best option for privacy. Monero and BipCoin are the way to go if you want to keep transactions discreet.
I knew about Monero, but BipCoin is a new thing for me. Thanks for the info.
Monero and BipCoin are proof-of-work currencies, so they will have some the same problems as Bitcoin.
Not necessarily. Cryptonote is a completely different system than all the Bitcoin imitators, and they are designed to function differently. And since they are designed for a different audience, they will likely not get as much hype as bitcoin, and remain less-utilized, ensuring a less-cluttered network.
I don't believe in any cryptocurrency that can't be scaled to serve the whole world.
I don't believe there needs to be a single cryptocurrency to serve the whole world in the first place.
Hi,
Totally agree it i seriously slow to move the bitcoins...i have a wallet called Luxstack and my transaction to my trezor since 26th of February is still unconfirmed...tried also to reach luxstacks customer service but no reply so getting really frustrated! I Hope the Bitcoin commmunity can resolve this issue and it has to be solved ASAP!
Ouch, that really does suck. I hope it resolves quickly. But yeah: it's getting pretty ridiculous.
Steem Backed Bitcoins, for all your fast transactions!
Did I really say that? I really hate these marketing-slogan moments before my first coffee.
haha.
