But really planning in the future on adding 1 tb blocks for a measly 7 Million Transactions a Second

Really? I like big blocks but their defense is huge blocks can be done because of fucking moore law? Moore law has a small limit. It no more lets make it smaller it builting it top or using complete diff materials

However the lightning network even when released will only do about a million transactions a second. It will take about 3 years more just to reach a half of billion transactions a second. Honestly core should do a temporary scaling solution of 5 mb to deal with the problem short term keeping people happy and work on some other scaling solution aka https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@sames/here-are-all-the-plans-bitcoin-plans-to-scale-without-increasing-block-size while companies are working on the lightning network.
