Coinbase potential insider trading ?

Coinbase just started supporting bitcoin cash on its platform. Trading is still not enabled but I saw almost 175% increase to 8500 ( as on coinbase) and 9500 (as on GDAX).

Is it possible there is some insider trading at coinbase?

If there is, then the need of regulation would be there and government will have to step in.

What's your take on it?
