Bitcoin is recovering from New Year's Eve’s fever
The price of the cryptocurrency broke through the level of $16,000 after its rate fell by more than 30% to $ 12,000. In 2017, the Bitcoin’s price increased by almost 20 times. Its price has risen from less than $1,000 to almost $20,000 on Bitstamp.
While investors and analysts of the crypto-currency market believe that the decrease in Bitcoin's cost is a natural correction of the market after a sharp increase, additional warnings appeared from regulators and central banks of some countries.
In particular, the co-founder of COSS in Singapore Andrey Popescu said that today there is no real price that would reflect the correct value of Bitcoin. According to him, the purchase of the coin in the long term is still the most correct method of investment.
In his turn, the chairman of the Department of Securities of Israel Shmuel Hauser said that he would propose to ban Bitcoin trading as well as all the other digital currencies on Israeli stock exchanges.
Last week, the Central Bank of Singapore warned residents of the country to avoid investment in the cryptocurrency and called the recent Bitcoin's price the result of speculation.
