TODAY MARKS THE FIRST DAY OF BITCOIN REGULATION
Bitcoin futures are going to be sold on CME and CBOE today. Bitcoin futures contract will ensure the predictability of bitcoin in the future meaning people will be able to buy a bitcoin at a point in future for a certain amount. This makes bitcoin more secure in terms of volatility.
For example: A miner can sell his bitcoin today that will be delivered 3 months later for a set amount of lest say 15,000. Thus put the miner at peace that he will be profitable 3 months later when he delivers his bitcoin. It ensures that he will receive his $15000 after 3 months.
So basically bitcoin futures will make bitcoin less volatile.
