Bitcoin will go to $ 100,000, analysts predict

But an analyst has good news for you, as he says Bitcoin will reach $ 100,000 this year.

Kay Van-Petersen, an analyst at the Danish bank Saxo, says the world's most famous virtual currency can rise to $ 100,000 this year.

In December 2016, he predicted that Bitcoin would reach $ 2,000 in 2017, and proved that he was right when the value of this currency surpassed the forecast in May and peaked in December by $ 20,000, reports Gazette Express.

He said the recent falls in Bitcoin could be a sign that his major growth is on the way.

"Bitcoin has been down 50%, which is healthy. But we have not yet seen the full effect of futures contracts, "Van-Petersen told CNBC.

He suggested that Bitcoin would be "re-evaluated" at an even higher price and added: "It's like building a foundation and then re-evaluating it a bit higher."

Bitcoin has fallen in price almost twice this week, with numerous experts who described the fall as "bloodshed".

Its collapse was driven by fears that all cryptomedies would suffer a global decline. The Bundesbang, Germany's bank has called for a global adjustment of Bitcoin, while the French Finance Minister has called for harsher rules for cryptomedies.
