Honestly, I used to look at CMC many times daily, but now I only check it from time-to-time, and not daily. I'm only in some (7) cryptocurrencies, not counting Steem, and I just research whatever I'm consider investing in, and then watch how it's doing. If the price is good, most likely the market cap. is too.

So far, everything has been working great for me. In this Wild West of cryptos though, you could almost randomly pick some coins/tokens out of about the top (50), and probably have done fairly well for yourself. I suspect that'll change over time, however. As we see more-and-more coins/tokens start to disappear, I believe people will begin to get a lot more cautious on what they invest in.

(I didn't know that about Paccoin. That's very interesting. Mmm....)
