Bitcoin Activating SegWit in 3 Hours
The highly debated, long awaited SegWit will be activated 3 hours from now according to SegWit.party

Looking back, it's important to note how long the change – perhaps the biggest ever made to the bitcoin software – has taken. To start, the community has been embroiled in politics since SegWit was first proposed in 2015 by Bitcoin Core contributor Pieter Wuille as a possible "compromise" to the scaling debate.

I think LTC is going to get a massive bump off of this personally. Time will tell.

Damn, I been focused on XRP after I checked the 1 day charts yesterday. Personally I feel like LTC is heavily undervalued, but I guess we'll see what the market says.
It has gone way up since being on coinbase, but I expect it to keep doing well as more money flows into alts.
Well it's suppose to make transactions faster and cheaper. And that's exactly what bitcoin needs right now. Transactions got way to expensive. Will we see a rise in price after segwit activation? That is what I hope to see :)
Hopefully now we can get on with the 2x part and clear up the backlog of transactions currently trapped!

That was the reason for the fork that just happened. BTC is activating SegWit and BCH has 8mb blocks
What about if some of the BTC miners do not want to activate SegWit?
