Yes, you're right and with the new rules and regulations regarding crypto coming to the USA in 2020, who knows what impact it will have; not to mention what other nations may have in store. Right now it's a waiting game. Game On!
In 2020 there will be at least a dozen false cryptos (just digital currency like videogame gold pieces). FaceBook's Libra, Walmart's 202, JPMorgan Coin, many more all the time. Google perhaps? Maybe that's why they're purging YT of any crypto information... so they can launch their own without competition.
