How can we increase the "true" value of Bitcoins?

Every asset is made of a "true" utility value and a "fake" speculative value. In the case of Bitcoins, it may be that the true value of the Bitcoin as on today (16th Nov 2017) is 4000 USD and the speculative value is 3500 USD. No one can truly know these values, honestly. These are just merely values to get an understanding of the concept.

The more the value of the fake vacuum, the higher chances of the asset being useless.

Now, if you just invest in Bitcoin and just hold it for a long time hoping to take an exit when it doubles from your invested value- it increases the speculative "vacuum"

But, if you invest in Bitcoin and then actually use it to either "pay" people or "buy" goods with it - it increases the "true" utility value.

As an investor, increasing the "true" utility value is of more significance! So, if you have invested in Bitcoin, spend that money - pay People around you, People you work with, People whose services you use or buy goods using OB1/OpenBazaar.
