Maduro Orders the Issue of 100M Petros, Venezuela’s Oil-Backed Cryptocurrency
The first issue of Venezuela’s national cryptocurrency has been ordered by President Nicolás Maduro. He has also called for the first national meeting of the petro’s miners where he will release the whitepaper for the new currency.
Lest hope that is not a failure like all the other things this government (im venezolan) has done.

Wonder if the block chain technology can save Venezuela from the corruption it suffers.Going to crypto is not a bad idea, but i just have a weird feeling about a government involved in all of this...especially like one in Venezuela
