Why is the Steemit platform awesome?

The things I understood by using steemit so far are:-

First, it's awesome because u can start a blog & earn money immediately with it. Of course, u won’t get hundreds, even tens, when you are starting, but this can come very quickly if u persist.

You can look at some other accounts & see that at one point, posts that were earning cents are earning twenty or thirty dollars when the posts are of the quality of course, and u have built some followers.

Second, Steemit is great because other users can build apps over the Steem blockchain. Have a look at SteemJ - The freelancer marketplace, which is a freelancer marketplace created by user @jerrybanfield.
Also, have also a look at the new DTube video site built on top of the Steem blockchain where creators can earn Steem by posting videos. It is perfectly integrated with Steemit and was created by user @heimindanger.

So my request to all new users and noobies is not to give up and keep on posting. Who knows you might get the attention of some great influencer and you hit the jackpot.
