I've said this before and I'll say it again, if you're using an online company with access to your Bitcoin/Alt Coin (Bittrex, Polo, Coinigy etc), use Two Factor Auth and make sure you have backed up your private key to a safe location.

A hacker can get your login details easier then you think, with 2FA he can do nothing with those details unless he has access to your authentication software e.g. Google Auth, which should never be the case.

If you have 2FA but you didn't backup your private key when you set it up, you CAN NOT get it back later, it's shown once during setup. If this is the case, it's simple enough to disable 2FA, then enable it again, you will get a new private key to backup.

Google Auth is an app only software, no PC install, if you lose your phone, with your private key you can restore your 2FA to a new device.
With out it you have no way of recreating it, you will have to ask the company to turn off 2FA on your account, and hope they will.

I use 2FA on every Crypto login based system I use, if they don't offer 2FA, I wouldn't hold my Bitcoin/Alt Coin with them.

Remember if you have 2FA on your Polo account, and you use a 3rd party app like Coinigy, depending on your API access, the hacker potentially has full access to transfer your coins to his wallet if he gets access to your Coinigy account, so be sure to 2FA your 3rd party software too.

This applies to fiat banking too, how many of you have a banking app on your phone with no password on your phone?
A mobile app makes life allot easier, for you and for the hacker.
