You can aleady deposit funds to offline micro wallet like faucet hub and tip other users 1 satoshi with 0 fees if you want, lightning will take the need to trust 3rd party away...
There is something about number of unconfirmed transactions always going up in spikes, not constantly though...
That's not true. With Lightning you'll need trusted third parties (hubs) to perform Lightning transactions.
Anyone on the Lightning Network can open a payment channel with anyone else at any time. You are not forced to use Lightning hub of anyone else. Be the hub!
